How to setup Eudora Light for multiple accounts
Step 1. If you haven't already, you need to setup Eudora one time using the default settings on the setup program. You can learn how to do that by clicking here.
For multiple accounts, you have to setup Eudora again for each new account, but you need to rename the icon between each time you set it up, or the new setup will overwrite the current icon and defeat the purpose of the multiple setups. This is how you rename the icon:
1st. Right-click your mouse on the Start button and select Explore, which will open your Windows Explorer right to your start menu settings.

Once you expand the tree like the illustration above shows, you will see all folders in your Start/Programs menu. Find the Eudora Light directory and change the name of the icon as illustrated below. It's also a good idea to copy the icon to your desktop for ease of use.

Step 2. Now you're ready to setup Eudoa Light a second time for your second account. Do this by double-clicking the eul306.exe icon on your desktop (the same icon you setup the original Eudora with). This time, however, you must direct the second setup to a different directory than the original directory, such as c:\eudoradad, or c:\eudorajunior, etc... (the default setting is c:\eudora). Start the setup, and take the default settings until you get to the option shown in the illustration below -- this is where you change the installation directory:

Another window will appear allowing you to change the directory name:

Change the directory name from Eudora to c:\eudoradad, or c:\eudorajunior, etc...
Step 3. Complete the setup, then rename the icon as you did in Step 1 above, with a name corresponding to the person using the e-mail, such as Dad's Mail, or Junior's Mail, etc...
Now you can proceed to setup Eudora again, if you have other e-mail accounts to setup. When completed, go to SpoCom.Com's How-to pages and select Eudora Light or click on this link and follow the individual configuration instructions for each e-mail account.
NOTE: you can't do multiple setups like this with most programs. Eudora is simply one of those that you can, so it may not be wise to try this type of multiple setup with other programs.
